New! Ethiopian Cotton Star Ornament
Korah is an enormous trash dump in Addis Abba, Ethiopia, consumed with heartbreaking poverty. But beauty rises from the ashes and these talented artisans weave and sew beautiful custom home products for Mercy House Global. They use the money they earn to send their children to school, pay rent, and feed their families. Melchem, the woman featured in one of the webcast stories, has been sponsored by the Welch family for years. The beautiful star ornament was created using hand spun Ethiopian cotton woven into fabric; then cut and sewn to create Christmas ornaments.
