IMANI Collective employs over fifty Kenyan men and women in the Mtepeni Village and Mombasa, along with half a dozen women stateside, to produce sustainably and ethically sourced pieces for children and mothers. It exists to empower artisans through dignified work, opportunity, and community. As an artisan brand they elevate industry standards to more than just fair trade, but to ethically made. They are commited to not only paying their staff ethical living salaries but also provide many employee benefits such as in-house childcare, bonuses, chefs on location for daily meals, literacy classes, paid maternity leave, dream management and much more. Their vision is simple: create change and break the generational cycle of poverty through education, training, and instilling confidence that creates space for artisans to dream of a brighter future.
