Our roasting business was born in response to the need to create demand for coffee growers that we were working with. Mark was completing his masters degree in horticulture, with the intention of starting a blueberry farm in Arkansas, when he had the opportunity to travel to Central America to help set up sustainable agriculture projects with coffee growing communities in Honduras and Guatemala.



Glazed in rich, varied tones this handmade ceramic dishware is expertly crafted in the ancient Vietnamese village of Bat Trang, long celebrated for its tradition of creating fine stoneware. Speckled sand and sage glazes provide earthy contrast to deep cobalt.

Since 1999,SERRV International has partnered with artisans in northern Vietnam, providing a long-term trading partnership and interest-free advance payment for our orders. Through sales of their products, artisans who are marginalized or disadvantaged, including ethnic minorities in remote areas and people with disabilities, develop craft skills, design products, learn business skills, and organize into production groups. These artisans create handmade ceramics in Bat Trang, a small village on the Red River famous for its ceramic pottery since the 15th century.

Artisans in North Vietnam specialize in tie dye, screen-printing and ceramics to produce their beautiful handcrafts.

Ombeni, a refugee from the Congo was resettled to Houston in 2019 with her husband and four young children. She exudes joy, gratitude, and Jesus as she softly sings while making soap in her tiny apartment kitchen. She has a heartbreaking story of escaping war and spending much of her life in a refugee camp, where her parents still live. But when Ombeni shares her story, she shines Jesus, and she gives Him glory for her rescue. Her dream is to be reunited with her family one day.
