BOPS mission: create products that are unique, sustainable, and come from a collaboration of women partnering for change. With over 25 years of experience in both retail and wholesale ventures, BOPS is dedicated to using a portion of its profits to teach practical skills to women to help start and sustain their own businesses. Whether it’s working with locals in Louisiana or teaching new skills abroad, it’s their passion to raise the next generation of female leaders. BOPS has created a sewing school in India and 275 women have graduated to date. Each graduate receives a pedal sewing machine upon graduation that allows them to provide for their families entirely from their new trade. It is BOPS hope that paying it forward really is contagious and that others are inspired just as the BOPS family is inspired by so many wonderful givers, and they strive to give because they’ve been given so much. BOPS products are sourced ethically from Nepal, India, China, and the United States --specifically from family-owned factories, women’s cooperatives, or individuals working from home. Partnering in this way allows for BOPS to insert an economic boost directly into families and create jobs that might otherwise not be created. Live Creatively. Give Freely.
