Hands Producing Hope’s refugee program exists to provide local refugee women supplemental income, community, and support acclimating to Baton Rouge. Our partners are originally from Iraq, Syria and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Our main goal is to help every woman we work with know that she is not alone and to help her grow in her confidence and knowledge of her value and worth. Our partners have endured so much, too much, and we are seeking to provide a safe space where she can be surrounded by others who have walked a similar path and to learn from each other.
